I just don't get lead generators or lead sellers in general. If the leads are qualified as hell, why don't you close them? Why would it matter that you were leaving the industry or already out of it? If on the way out the door you still have a stack of qualified leads remaining, then you working them/closing some of them would be sort of like a severance package.
It's why (and I'm sorry to state this) I just don't see how many of these lead generators or lead sellers, in general, could have legit "qualified" leads. So if a particular lead that you have closes and can pocket you let's say up to $5k, you are going to sell that guy's information to me for $20 - $40? That would have to be the worse display of business acumen in history.
It's why there's no way in hell these lead generators or "lead sellers" could have legit qualified leads. It makes no sense.
