New Jersey Bill Seeks to Eliminate Quick Easy Access to Small Business Loans
of note, NJ wants to create barriers to entry for brokers- "In addition, the bill calls for detailed contract disclosures, proof that the funds will be used to economically benefit the small business applicant, lenders to set up their own complaint departments, licensing, bonding requirements for brokers & lenders, a minimum net worth for a broker of $100,000, background checks, written examinations, and ethics classes as part of continuing required education"

Its interesting because many states that seek to build a hub for a specific industry are usually extra friendly and sensitive to those businesses needs (for example) states that seek to build specific factories may have special laws for these factories may it be fumes or waste regulation changes etc etc I find it ironic that the 1 state that added so many employees turns out to be that exact state that is seeking to make it hardest for them to operate. (disclaimer we have NO offices in NJ).

I am keen on the Princeton area. We sold our home in Robinsville when we moved to Palm Beach County. Easy access to NY and Philly.

It's funny that you continue to respond to or even hijack other theads as if it's business as usual, yet you refuse to issue any sort of response to the Peak Solutions thread which YOU started and then cowardly ran from after you were called out. Everybody sees through it Marcus. You should at the very least stop being a punk and at least acknowledge it. People would have perhaps a little more respect for you if you were to at least stand up like a man and say you're not going to respond to it. But you have ZERO right to post on any other thread while you're ignoring that one like a baby.

Guys. He’s not going to respond. Forget trying.
He’s above it. He’s above us. He’s above it all.
We’re just some silly losers trying to hold down the BIG BOY.

If its so easy for him to spam every post promoting his company, why is it so hard for him to respond to criticism? If your going to put yourself out there like that, you better be able to handle the jabs you get back. Otherwise why does he get to reap the benefit of constantly having his company promoted on this forum?

pcfunder is right. Marcus opened this can of worms with his original post. If he's not going to confirm to industry and societal norms, the least we can do, as a community, is persist in holding him accountable until he does what's right or simply fades away. Otherwise he will just continue to act with impunity. He should not be able to ignore that post while continuing to respond to others, period. So I will do my part by consistently trolling every one of his posts until he either puts up or shuts up.

So bottom line, what if Marcus still doesn't respond, and the daily funder community keeps persisting, who will fold?
Because if no one will fold, we might as well shut down the site after a certain period of time, since it will basically be the same of Marcus VS DF Community, every day again and again.

Unfortunately, there is NOTHING funny about my comment. I repeated "what self governing" to stress that there has been ZERO self governing. This have progressively gotten worse over the last 3-4-5 years, not better....and because the children cannot play together in the yard, the adults have to come in and supervise.
We brought this on ourselves and I am not the first to one to sound that alarm either
