Today, 05:21 PMFrom my buddy Tony: "I have done similar before it really depends but more likely PG is needed. Send it I can review and tell you. " Tony Borchello First Financial (888) 211-2197 mobile: (949) 800-5767 tonyb@firstfinancialweb.com

Today, 04:53 PMI agree with this.

Today, 04:51 PMThere is probably a high likelihood that whoever perpetrated the hack has no idea what the value of the data is or where to sell it. Your best odds over here would be keep an eye out if you see this information surfacing as leads for sale. If you feel like that's the case, you may consider sending out an email to your merchants notifying them about the breech and let them know to ignore all calls, emails etc. This may be a bit tough as this is an industry that merchants already get a ton of calls and work with a ton of brokers...

Today, 04:50 PMat this pace you both might beat out the top Ford salesman for the entire east coast

Today, 04:37 PMThat makes sense now. I misread it, so I'm glad it's been clarified, which is exactly what I was requesting. Still, asking for $1.5mm equipment finance with no PG for a startup is still an equity play.

Today, 04:34 PMNickHubbard replied to a thread Equipment Funding for Bitcoin Mining Servers & Computers in Deal BinI assume he meant the client has 25% cash down to bring into the equipment financing acquisition.
-
Today, 04:27 PMMy apologies, no need to try to cancel me. You just mentioned a "25 percent for equity injection" which sounded like they're looking to sell the equity and they're a startup looking for $1.9mm with no PG, so it sounded to me like an equity deal. If I was wrong, I'm okay being wrong. Either way, as a startup needing those numbers, I normally just tell people that this deal is an equity deal, and I don't do equity.

Today, 03:58 PMbmckenzie67 replied to a thread Equipment Funding for Bitcoin Mining Servers & Computers in Deal BinI am not searching for equity, so your assessment is incorrect. For future reference, please do not respond to any of my post as I am well aware of compliance\ and licensing requirements.,

Today, 03:09 PMThanks for telling us to "chill out" about being concerned our deals could have been accessed. Think its normal for people to have more questions here.
-
Today, 03:07 PMI’ve worked with centrex for many years and never had any issues whatsoever. Target had a data breach and I still shop there. Experian had a data breach and I still use their services. Every software has had **** happen — just chill out and keep funding.

Today, 03:01 PMForward is nothing to write home about, as mentioned above they micro manage you like you are an employee of them, but give terrible deals. Pass.
-
Today, 03:00 PMOriginally when I onboarded with them a year or two ago, they make you go through some rigorous onboarding, made you attend like monthly calls then if you under performed with them after like 2-3 months they cut you off because they had like a performance chart. In my opinion handing out 1.57s to merchants where I can send them elsewhere and get them funded it's not worth it. FunderFunding is correct - if you aren't ready to submit 100 apps a month and close a certain percentage with them, don't even bother.
-
Today, 02:51 PMCurious if it will be made available who was impacted (funders names etc). This would in theory be relevant to all brokers as we may have had our files accessed where we fund our deals. Curious to hear updates, this seems rather serious.
-
Today, 02:46 PMWow this is some serious stuff. First time Centrex is openly admitting a data leak.. For years people have been speculating this. I wonder if this was a rogue employee that was selling leads to brokers? Makes you wonder. Hopefully they're able to resolve this and never have issues like this in the future. A lot of data being stored on Centrex. Do we have any more updates?

Today, 02:02 PMThis sounds like you're fishing for raising equity. I'd be very careful here, there are a lot of literal laws in place unless you're properly licensed. If you aren't, then please specify.
-
Today, 01:57 PMClient seeking $1.9MM for Bitcoin Mining servers and computers. Client's firm has 25 percent for equity injection. They are a start-up and prefer no Personal Guarantor if possible (Already know that's probably a long-shot). Please advise if interested. Thank you

Today, 12:25 PMThis is pretty simple. Its not a business expense. He was running for President. If he paid this out of Personal funds no crime. Deducting as an expense is tax Fraud.

Today, 12:09 PMThere has always been a bit of "noise" on this forum, but it has also been an invaluable resource for our industry over the years. Instead of kvetching about the quality of the dialogue on an internet forum, we should be thanking Sean and his team for keeping alive the beautiful cacophony of the different players playing in our chosen sandbox.
