When did PayPal start offering ACH? What are the fees?

I literally learned the industry in 2014, logging on here and reading through every post and thread there was... Learn about what happened to Bob, the Karens, learning WhoIsKingsley before TCB, and maybe you can bring bck a little more of what it used to be (a forum of knowledge and helpers!)... meeting people here at Debanked is cool, and learning a lot about both companies and people (even ones you thought were on the up and up!). I love this site. Sure, it isn't what it was before - but I still visit DAILY! :)

ACH Works, Actum Processing, ACH Processing Company, EFT Canada for those of you in Canada. Here is the problem I have noticed over many years in banking when it comes to processing with your bank. Your bank will tell you they will give you next day funding and cheaper processing rates, which they will. The question is why? Well its because they have direct access to your operating funds. ACH processing is all about risk. The bank has much lower risk if they have access to all your operating funds so in the instance where a merchant or someone goes rogue on you, they freeze your bank accounts and shut off your processing capabilities. At this point you can't access your funds nor can you process payments. I have clients tell me, "Well....I have a good relationship with my bank and its never been a problem". I simply reply by saying, "Its not a problem until its a problem, and then you have a problem." The nice part about third party ACH processors is that they don't have access to your bank account or operating funds. They can't freeze anything other than your ability to process payments through them. This is why they have a 3 to 5 day float to make sure the merchant is OK with funds that were just pulled from their bank. If you put up a big reserve, you get next day funding. When processing with a bank, your operating account acts as a reserve which is why they can freeze it if they want. Anyway, working with multiple third party processors at the end of the day is still the most successful model I have seen that gets the job done, and protects your funds. My thoughts. The DF pops off. Extremely valuable platform regardless of the nuisances. So does probably every other platform. It's also interesting to watch people disappear after they come on here talking a big game about this and that.

I have had mostly good experiences as a result of this forum. I can't even begin to count how many deals I have gotten done over the years thanks to meeting people through this forum.

I did one in Hawaii $1.1M cash out to pay multiple MCA's.....only problem you have with mixed use is compararable sales in the area. The other issue is population where it's located...Typically needs 25,000 or more population or close to something of that size. I've gotten exceptions if it's close to a larger city. If Micah's referral can't help you, reach out....I had to use private money lender for one of these due to the comparable sales issue.
