Today, 03:59 PMI was waiting for the “sign up with me!” simps… Somebody give this guy some actual recommendations, I wanna hear about the competition!!
-
Today, 03:52 PMAs far as I know, you do not need to be licensed if the funder is licensed, although some funders want their CALI brokers licensed as well. According to Debanked, Cali may close the loophole in a couple of years. There was a lawyer interviewed on Debanked that confirmed this in a video interview.

Today, 01:51 PMi agree with a lot of this. Assuming they are quality agents, this can work in theory, but you really need to give them the proper tools to suceed and manage them the way you would manage employees in your office. If you havent had success managing people in your office, you'll have a very difficult time managing overseas employees. In terms of call centers stealing your info, you need to make sure you know who your working with. If its someone who specifically targets the MCA industry for cold callers thats a bit of a red flag since thats a difficult job to outsource. If its a company that does a bit of everything and is willing to take this on as well, id be less concerned. It isnt nearly as shady an industry as cash advance.

Today, 12:47 PMPrivate money for real estate doesn't need you to have a license, they operate under their license. They just put in the fees and pay you as a commission after closing. You are NOT listed on the HUD, final closing statement - only the lender is. You might find super brokers can do that same thing. Reach out to a couple super brokers and ask them.
-
Today, 12:41 PMHint: If all these funders have nothing better to do but lurk on DF waiting for opportunities to find new files, then they're probably not too busy funding any deals!

Today, 12:34 PMThere's been a crackdown on SMS blasting from the FCC. Maybe try to find a CRM that allows you to do it (if it's possible) or email blasting is another alternative.

Today, 12:26 PMI agree - LinkedIn Hyperlinks are very dangerous - linkedin.com/in/kevin-henry-64b2272

Today, 12:16 PMYes. You need to register with NMLS, and it will require a foreign qualification in CA which costs $800/year. It's an online process, they need a lot of stips to prove you're in business, who you are, etc etc etc. They also require net worth of $25,000 and a surety bond that you have to pay someone to create. I don't remember if there are any other yearly fees or not. I once posted on here if someone wanted to split it with me, feel free to reach out. However, because I'm also a one-man-show, so it's not so common to get a CA deal that I need to submit to the A-paper places that require a license. (Credibly and IOU would be the exception though.)
