I just don't get it?!??? So if someone has the highest commission you will only work with them? What if it's. Buy rate and the merchant won't take your offer because it's too high and you have to lower the rate but you don't want to sell the deal because you're greedy and not making enough. So what do you do? You start shopping it because you lost time... Then what happens? You don't have a relationship with the lenders who you are "using" - and when I say using- I mean shopping and using them and they know that you're probably not going to close with them and they put you at the bottom of the pile.

Or worst case- someone calls behind your back and POOF! It's gone. Think about it... Your posts about commission are baffeling. Learn how to do your job.

Don't forget, to get these 15-17 point commissions, you will have to sell your client an advance well over a 1.4. I'll honestly take 8-10 points built in from someone who Underwrites a file in 48 hours, gives me fair offers without arbitrary renigs, tells me when my Merchant is due for renewals and do not contact my clients without notifying me.

Ask yourself: Would you rather make 15 points once or 8 points 3+ times funding a Merchant?

I get more "make sense" deals done between 6-10 pts commission and I am not upset one bit! My merchants are happy because they knew my process and what I was working on getting them because I scrubbed their file and knew who they qualified for and who to send it to! If I work with ISOs to get an approval and the commissions too low, I send them directly to the lender or always do an 80:20 split to be fair- sometimes you need help and the highest commissions don't always equal good deals.

I agree with you guys ^^^^^^^

I like getting ISOs who aren't here to make a quick buck, dump the merchant, and then beg for the renewal come time. You need to perfect your craft, build your book, and the lender will appreciate you and want to work with you and you will make the money you deserve.

That being said PM me if you would like to work with a Direct Lender who will treat you will and pay you well.
