I'm not going to completely ignore the possibility, but there's a 99.99% chance that this person didn't care about his credit in a meaningful way. And it's not like the personal loan lenders ignore background checks also.

We are a high risk funder and will consider owner's with past criminal records. We will not fund anyone with sex charges, or with recent criminal charges. We run background at submission and there will be a note on the approval if it a high risk program approval due to criminal record.
