So from 100 "leads" you are getting 25 apps, and from those 25 apps you are getting at least 3 funded? Let's say the average commission is $1,200 per deal so that's $3,600.

How much are you selling the "leads" for? And if you have a proven system like this, why on Earth are you selling the "leads"? Why aren't you closing them yourself?

So If I buy 100 leads for $5,000 (@ $50 a pop), I'll be able to make $3,600 in commission? Sign me up!

That ignores the lifetime value of any renewals and referrals. Any ROI analysis is going to have to have some assumptions baked in, but that math is overly simplistic.

I'm not in marketing or lead gen, but there seems to be a lack of discussion about opportunity costs and labor savings when it comes to leads and data. Not just on this thread, but in general.

not sure how much you can count that, when the leads are resold over and over. Most companies are honest about it.

Yes Michael I, if you are only selling MCA, "lifetime" is quite a high bogey. Loyalty being a lucky phone call away.

That's 8 points on a 15K deal. Pretty standard to me.
