Some one has to be a Licensed Mortgage Lender for Residential Lending?

Well Dan that is true to some extent - I would do that deal if it isn't owner occupied and they had more leverage, you only need a license if your soliciting " Conventional Mortgages", as a private lender i do residential loans quite often - we closed over 400 F&F Loans last year not including the commercial and MF properties. some states dont require mortgage licenses, only Registration thru the State as an originator.
