Is there a consensus on which risk data exchanges (such as DataMerch) have the best coverage and are the most effective?

I never understood these databases. What are the guidelines to insure the accuracy of these exchanges? I had a merchant that was declined for being on the namaa list. Came out it was because he lowered payments at one point with x lender for a month.Merchant called x lender to understand why he was blacklisted when they agreed on that month of lower payments.Guess what.They renewed him.

Objectively, the largest is the best. It really comes down to network effect and the overlap between their population and yours. Can't really make any value judgments since everyone has a different applicant pool.

CreditGuy - Do you know which have been substantiated as having the largest network scale? We're about skeptical about claims, as they are hard to validate based on simple diligence.

same thing happened to me.They claimed merchant submitted fraud to them yet they winded up funding the merchant with bank log in.

matt, from my understanding Datamerch has something like 70+ users while NAMAA has 14 or less?

Datamerch is very effective, other than the fact that you must search by EIN and an EIN may be filled out incorrectly during the application process.
