    Direct Capital/CIT Group

Has anyone else heard that DC was sold to CIT Group?

It wouldn't surprise me. They had a book on the street about 3 months ago. It would take a big number to buy them, and CIT would be a logical buyer.

Where did you hear that, isaacdstern? Has it / will it be publicly announced?

for your amazing prediction powers, I award you with 10 rep points.

does DCC fund any of their own mca deals or do they still broker them out? I've always known them to be a HUGE shop. I was curious to know which funder(s) benefit from them.

    Direct Capital/CIT Group

They used to do a ton of deals with Ondeck and Mcc. They started funding their own deals 18 months ago. I honestly have no clue what they are doing now. I did hear that 80 percent of upper management is no longer with DCC, they were asked nicely to take a severance package before the deal went down

agreed all the way with that statement.....as more and more money jumps into the alternative lending space you will see more and more acquisitions. I heard someone say recently the hot buzz word in the hedge fund circles these days is "merchant cash advance"
