    Square

    http://debanked.com/2017/02/square-c...h-loan-market/

Square did what all of the merchant processing companies should have done and now they are setting themselves up very nicely on the lending side of their business. If only First Data and Heartland hadnt thought they were "better" than the MCA space they would be able to say they are putting numbers up like this. Assuming they can maintain a 96% TCR their funding side will be very profitable with what they are saying is a nonexistent CPA.

Also, if you read this month's issue of deBanked which I received today (thanks Sean) you will see how seamless of a process it was to get funding from them. Definitely worth the read if you have a copy.

Correct. Their primary business is still on the merchant acquiring side and while they are not yet profitable the losses from q1 to q4 plummeted. I was only speaking in regards to their lending side.

    Net Rev Q1 379 Loss 97 (include 50M loss from settlement)-use 47
    Net Rev Q2 439 Loss 27
    Net Rev Q3 439 Loss 32
    Net Rev Q4 452 Loss 15

GPV grew from $10.3 B in Q1 to $13.7 B.....but Revenue has been relatively flat during the same period.

They have done a great job creating a frictionless experience--but when you look at real numbers (excluding adjusted non-GAAP ebitda and related BS), I just don't the explosive growth to justify the valuation.
