depends upon the criminal background. If you have someone who got caught smoking a joint, I'm not going to worry about it. If you have Grand Larceny, it might be an issue. :-)

Did you ask your client about it? I've had deals killed at Quarterspot for criminal, to only clarify that it was someone else who came up on a name search. Asking your client will also provide you with leverage on selling a more expensive deal since most likely a high-risk funder will do it (like Yellowstone). Like the rest said it is really dependent on what it is ? I have a merchant now that did bad checks and wire fraud, no one is touching it . While I had a merchant that put nitro in a limousine and raced when he was 18 and funded it with A lenders.

I can most likely get this done depending on what the crime was and how long ago. I've seen deals get killed for an offense that happened over a decade ago which really makes no sense to me, most people learn from their mistakes. This is MCA not Chase, Wells, Etc. I've gotten a deal exactly like this done at Accord in the past. They're pretty creative, but you're talking about much different programs than A paper lenders like Quarterspot.
