    Trucking in Need of Consolidation

    Good afternoon DF,

I have a merchant with a Trucking company doing 800k-1.5m Monthly.

    2 Balances:

    Knight: 50k
    YSC: 55k ( I got him this advance )

Should be an easy consolidation, but having a tough time bc of industry. Any and all recommendations will be appreciated.

    Thank you,

Mark, I am sure almost every lender will send their declines to the guys who will do them, cue Mr. Clapman.

Except he, working for a direct funder, who says they do high risk deals, is now sending it to another high risk funder. Just cant understand why he would say it.

    Lior,

Are they factoring their receivables? I really don't chase many trucking deals, but would be happy to take a look. If they are not factoring, they should be. If they are....we will likely save them a lot of money. kevin.henry@seacoastbf.com

Merchant was a direct lead with CFG, wouldn't take our 40k offer. So we sent it to YSC who came in more aggressive with 80k.

JUST BECAUSE I AM A DIRECT FUNDER, DOES NOT MEAN I CANT BROKER THE 1 DEAL I ORIGINATED.

Its surprising that my honestly would be flipped around "Funder Mark"

For the record - we approved the file for 40k 120 days. Merchant needed a higher funded amount so i sent it to my friend at YSC.

    No big deal.

If the borrower has real estate to pledge, WBL can usually offer much larger loans than other lenders.

Be careful how you tread...you're the new guy here and there are some strong, ethical brokers that could be your friend. Choose...wisely.

As an aside...I went to your website out of sheer curiosity and it is unclear if you are a direct funder (which means using your own money)

National is a substantial Broker shop located in Bohemia NY. As they syndicate in deals (and will likely receive a capital raise to do more) they can represent themselves as direct funders. Not sure who potheguy is, but have met the Principal owner, and have a familiarity with the folks on the main level and garden level.. Professional outfit but they do not underwrite consolidations..
