Business located on an Indian Reservation

has anyone ever funded a deal on an Indian Reservation. i worked on a file for a while with a number of different banks trying to get it done and it never happened.. I am not looking for a bank to fund this deal just interested if anyone has and if you have how. No corp filings with state was the main hurdle I could never get over

Very tough to get done because of tribal law. I know we avoid them. If I can think of anyone, I will give you a shout.

I do not think you will be able to get someone to do it, because there would be no recourse in the Courts if they do not pay because the Federal or State Governments have no jurisdiction.

The only way to do this would be if the tribe is under the perview of the Bureau of Indian Affairs and you get approval from BIA and put a lien on any real property they hold.
