    Funding a Nonprofit

Anyone funding nonprofits? Been looking around it seems to be on everyone's restricted list.

Non-profits have no owners. All income is property of the non-profit. If a non-profit can afford an MCA/short term working capital loan, it isn't a non-profit. If the IRS catches wind/sees the expense on the 990, they would very likely to almost certainly yank the NP status. IANAL, but you might then have some lender liability issues around any taxes that suddenly become due because of the credit product you gave them. You can try to argue it isn't a credit product/loan, but I would bet you dollars to donuts the IRS wouldn't give a hoot about your nuanced legal argument. Just walk away.
