Robo-Calls
I have absolutely had it with these robo calls. I am tempted to fill out a few leads, putting down numbers for the RNC, DNC, White House, Clinton Foundation, CIA, FBI, Trump Towers, and several others. I am pretty sure once they are getting all the robo calls, the endless flow of spam will slow down.
Will this work?

TCPA has handed out some pretty hefty fines this year which has basically halted the big dialers from calling cell phones. However you can't stop the new kids on the block from dumping any phones they get their hands on into press 1 campaign against all conventional wisdom. We offer complimentary cell phone scrub for anyone using a dialer (or we separate out the cell phones so you can hand-dial those). Overall cell phone robo dials should be down compared to 6 months ago.

The worst is one company who keeps on calling my office line, I finally pressed 1 to have a rep remove my number, they hung up on me before I could finish speaking.

The current leader in the clubhouse for us is Paramount they call us about 5 times a day and no one answers when you pick up. They might want to take a look at their dialer set-up.

I can't get them to stop either. It's gotten to the point where I don't really even answer my cell phone anymore unless it's from a saved number. My cell phone has been on the do-not-call list for 10 years.

Find yourself a competent consumer attorney, track the perpetrators and pass on the info to your attorney. They should be able to hit them up for $500 to $1,500 a call / txt. Get a judgment against them, assuming they are viable.
The atty can register that judgment in the federal district court where they are located and go ahead and do what people do with a judgment — lien the business property, bank accounts, whatever.
