Those rates are actually pretty good. I don't know how the company can be profitable. Let's assume cost of capital is around 5% and default rate is 8% (which is highly optimistic), there's not much left to keep the lights on.

SOS are good people, I've literally never seen a tier 1+ or tier 4 offer, but they are very competitive in tiers 2-3 (typical B/C/D box). They are also incredibly responsive and easy to work with, definitely recommended.

No they are paid in full. Interest free, is free money. Meaning they get up to $25,000 and they return only the principal.

We close Tier 1 and Tier 1+ deals with them all the time, I guess it depends on the paper you have, We recently closed with them a 135K tier 1+ deal in 4 hours.
Very trust worthy and a phenomenal group to work with.
