    New Websites

Interesting thing I noticed recently, the 3 major MCA players keep changing their website every few months. OnDeck, CanCapital and Kabbage. The new trend is to eliminate a lot of fluff and use mega circles and boxes instead of small detailed design. I wonder if their conversion rates are growing because of these changes. CanCapital was always designed to be a conversion machine, but the other two are following the same trend now.
    Always keep looking out!

Those sites have become optimized to become standard sales funnel landing pages. They represent a new web aesthetic. Simple, clean, user-friendly designs with a clear call to action (in this case, obtaining a free quote). The major players don't use long, wordy text anymore because they realize that less is more.

Save the words for the blogs. No one comes to a homepage to read. This is a 140 character world now. They literally go by optics and ease of use. All about getting them to fill out the application or make a phone call.
