Well there's people who feel THAT strongly about it and people that express it in a nicer manner. Regardless, there are too many complaints voiced on and off the site. No more mentioning buynance, its calculators, or what you do.

getting standoffish with a forum admin isn't going to get anyone anywhere but banned from the forum. Being on a high horse, being arrogant, and being standoffish are not ways of making friends, effectively networking or marketing yourself or your product.
Being humble, being pleasant, and maybe posting once in a while where your not touting your service at some point in the post are good ways to start making "adjustments"...

Ryan,
This will be my last post I promise. However, you should know that engaging on the mission we are on, while trying our best to not offend / make friends would be cowardly.
Additionally, I reached out to admin and this was the quote I received...
"Even if you leave buynance out of it, it's still perceived negatively no matter how you phrase your ideas."
It's my ideas that are offensive, and this knowledge excites me because that lets me know we are on to something. Now the trick is to heighten the contradictions.
All the best,
Jay

well, speaking for myself, I am not offended by your ideas, but rather how you phrase them, the high horse is what is offensive. And, your wrong about " engaging on the mission we are on, while trying our best to not offend / make friends would be cowardly", you can be humble and still make plenty of money and not come off "cowardly"... For instance, I don't hide behind a moniker and outright offend people nor do I use my real name and act like a b**ch hiding and running away with my tail between my legs. It is what it is, you come off arrogant, and that is your downfall, that's what people don't like...

1. Watch video: Pay particular close attention to 1:08 to 1:37.
2. We are not driven by the money - at all.
Finally - Admin asked me not to post my ideas here anymore. Even though i said I would keep them all upbeat and positive. Just because I won't be posting, does not mean I am "running away" like a little b-word. No, what I will be doing is carefully executing a campaign designed to push hoards of merchants with stories to this site to share their stories with you. Their stories design our ideas - the ones no one wants shared here.
Once that ball gets rolling, it will take on a life of it's own.
Again, time to heighten the contradictions.
Humility. I'll humble myself before the guy in that video when it's time to pitch him for sure. Humble myself before you? Lol.
All the best,
JayLast edited by JayBallentine; 04-24-2014 at 02:57 PM.
