We like dispensaries and have funded them at Rapid for many years. Recently our bank and lender told us that we could not have dispensaries in our portfolio or run the daily ACH through their bank even if they weren't funding the deal. Banks are getting heavy regulatory pressure in certain segments. Marijuana is still a controlled substance at the federal level regardless of what the states do.

I've heard that Everest is funding dispensaries, but haven't had one and am unable to confirm. That said, I've heard a lot of positive promed reviews, they are likely a better option.

Update: ProMED is not funding dispensaries yet, but they are working on it.
