I am a direct funder and do exactly what your client is requesting. That stated, I do not stack on anyone, so funding would be predicated upon paying off his first two positions. We also prohibit clients from stacking on top of us, so he (and you) would need to know that, going in.

When consolidating MCA balances, I typically get client payments down to about one-third of what they are paying today. In addition, the client can pay us off anytime after six months with no fees, penalties or interest (they just pay the remaining principle and they are out). This gets clients pretty excited since the savings are substantial.

In addition, our payments are monthly, not daily...which is also a huge selling point for clients.

If we assume total funding of $200k (including consolidating his two open positions and providing $100k cash out), your client would need to be showing NET monthly income of about $25k, or about 6% - 12% net margin, which is pretty typical.

That stated, I am not a MCA lender so we do things differently. Underwriting is based upon the financial strength of the client, and not upon deposits.
