need advice on higher sales person to deal with ISO/brokers
We are a direct lender that does quick funding up to 150k. Daily ACH no merchants. We are looking to bring on sales person to market to brokers. Why should we hirer a sales person with financial industry experience verses a sales person from another industry. Our direct lending is pretty simple so there really isn't much need for financial background. More of a relationship sale.

There is no benefit. As a matter of fact, you may be better off with someone without the financial background. I just went through this and our best guys have nothing to do with finance in the past.

If your a new company and your account managers don't have the level of knowledge to discuss the ins and outs of a deal I would see that as a huge disadvantage.
