    Beware of Powerup

    Powerup and Charlie Mayo yet again attempting to go direct to clients I placed with them to avoid commissions. Sorry Charlie. lol.

    Never had any luck with them, they are very discretional on their offers. Ask them what is their UW criteria for potential candidates and its pretty generic.

    But in that regard, most lenders have that right to reach out to the clients they funded for renewals as per the ISO agreement. Now, if they fund said renewal merchants and didn't pay you whats rightfully yours thats a different ball game. Either way, transparency is key.

    I just had a deal renewed without me knowing and got an unexpected commission check, not happy about not being involved in the process but its in the ISO agreement and they paid me next day.

    But that's what happened. They funded a second time and didn't pay us. Now they are tring to do it a 3rd time. Luckily the client is in my pocket. They refused to pay on the second. I moved the client now.

    Beware of Powerup

    Power up has pulled back big time. The defaults definitely caught up to them.
