    Decline Over Business Credit Rating???

I had a merchant who was declined by a major lender over their supposed Business Credit Rating, but wanted to check here and see if it sounded right to you guys. This merchant has at least 2 other approvals but mine was a decline for some reason.

    +750 FICO
    In Business +30 yrs
    +$12000 Avg. Daily Bal.
    + $65k in monthly deposits

I would think an exception could be made, but maybe I'm wrong.

that's personal FICO, but what about trade lines? Plus, what type of business is it? Home based?

    Several unanswered questions here.

Surprised Sean hasn't stepped in. He was the King of declining deals at MCC for years, so he knows all the reasons why a merchant would be declined

I don't know anything about the file, but I can tell you it's dead.

Yes, I did have a reputation for declining deals. And those declines were happily funded by Fast Capital, Merit Capital Advance, iFunds, Global Swift Funding, and First Funds. Where are all those guys now?

Based on what I have heard about this deal (on the surface is a good description) it sounds totally worth a second look.

Can you give me some more details? I would be interested in taking a look since FICO is next to worthless (my opinion) when I underwrite.
