Did anyone else receive an email from CAN on changes to Retention Program/Origination
Just curious, seems sudden.

I find it very odd that they are adding origination fees now.

I think a lot of lenders are doing it to pay something to the account managers. An extra 2% will be a tough sell especially considering how many of their models are already priced; as much as a 1.47 on longer term deals as it stands now for A Paper.
(And please no one give me $hit on "well, what is A Paper actuallllly.....????"

They CAN do it and probably will see a very minimal or non existent negative impact to their funding volume. Definitely a calculated decision.
