Do not deal with happy rock

We do about $750k-$1m in MCA (ach/cc) brokering and have never seen a **** show like Happy Rock.

If you want to provide a good service to your clients, steer clear of Happy Rock.

    FACTS of a recent deal:
    • Happy Rock makes an offer.
    • Client signs in a timely fashion.
    • Client redirects CC Processors to pay Happy Rock's lockbox, as required.
    • Happy Rock starts collecting CC receipts.
    • 96 hours later, Happy Rock has not funded the deal.
    • Credit committee comes back on day 5, kills the deal.
    • Happy Rock collected 8% of daily deposits, strangle holding client's cash flow

No words can describe just how awful this was for the client.

    STAY AWAY FROM HAPPY ROCK.

Having been in this business for over 8 years, I've seen many many deals die just before funding with many different funding sources.

Why did they kill the deal? What did they uncover about the merchant that made them pull the plug?

    welcome to the mca industry.

I agree with what you are saying and things come up on deals.. With a lockbox deal though the bank should have a 100% approval in place before the deposits are switched and payments taken

yes of course they shouldn't have released the lockbox letter without the deal being finalized, but I have seen other funders kill deals after splits started and merchant companies changed.
