I got an approval for a merchant in Ohio ( very clean 2nd position for a retail merchant with excellent credit) from a lender that doesn't usually use a COJ. When I got the contract, there was a COGNOVIT PROMISSORY NOTE attached and I was told this is used in OHIO only as Ohio laws are very favorable to borrower. Anyone else have this experience?
