Exactly. I'd check that before sending out to the various funding houses -- will help you manage the merchants expectations. Only folks that may not back it out are the high risk guys that don't care what happens to the merchant or unsophisticated funding companies you probably wouldn't want to work with anyways.

Not necessarily. "unsophisticated" is a pretty crappy word but I get what you mean. In this case, it's good to work with a company that can maybe break down the deal, review the risk, and present it to the right outlet for you without you hooking up with every C/D Funder under the sun.

That is one of the things Cardinal does. I am not one to come on here and pull a Cresthill- but at a time when you have those wonky, high risk deals that you just don't want to spend time on, we do. We have an in-house team of four admin that work for our Brokers and cater to our Funding Company Principals and Underwriters. It's simple service without the ISO shopping all over.

Example, we can review the file in 10 min., know right away out of the X amount of C/D paper Funders- who will give it the time of day. We represent your deal and actually communicate the deal and negotiate to get it done for you. Our "override" (if you will) is well earned by providing service, coaching, and help if you just have a question... or need to validate a source, even if you don't fund the deal with us, we want to make sure you don't waste time.

We live by the saying "Giving a **** is grossly underrated". Even if it's a $5k deal... we put the same professional effort into every Deal, Broker, and Partner.
