Our HR Director (!) got an email from Alan Milller at Pearl/Horizon today that said in part:

Do you have any clients you have funded before that might need additional capital without paying off their current business loans or any declines(2nd or 3rd positions ok)?
( Basically anybody with a pulse)

    No Minimum Credit Score
Funding can be within 72 hours!
38 cents & higher on the dollar
2nd & 3rd position advances are our specialty!

Got this same email. Thought it was a charm offense gone bad till I realized he was dead serious.

"...anything..." NOT anyone, but anything with a pulse. Wow.

This platform is not large enough to give it the limelight it deserves.

To Jbrown and other readers: I believe you misunderstood my point about stacking as I was very clear in my previous writings about the issue. Stacking can be in some or many cases like 1st and 2nd mtgs .... responsible funding is fine if a calculator is used. The example noted with the four fundings in your post is an example of what is wrong, not what is right about "stacking". I stand by my comments, and coming from my 14+ years in this business and 30 years in finance, is frankly a sound position. Best to all - Bob Gaskin

Don't post any nonsense about how this is an informed merchant and the stackers are like 2nd and 3rd home equity loans. The Hoppers are just burying the doctor until he goes BK.

I have some deals that have performed amazingly well as Stacks, and then I have some that completely blown up in my face. Most of the time the problems come when the daily payments (combined) are too aggressive.
