    Pawn Shops are great people and not a high risk industry. The reason why its on many funding companies black list is based on ignorance and ill make my case;
    Back in the day when advances were based on credit card receipts most credit card processors had/have pawn shop as a restricted industry because a high amount of Chargebacks from that clientele same goes for Bail Bonds as an ACH they are a non risk Merchant, however a client paying a bond fee by credit card is highly risk chance to get charged backed. So when the ACH product came about most funders just copied and pasted restricted lists.

    I thought the industry was restricted largely because most pawn shops are consumer lenders as well, and since lending to lenders is blacklisted, pawn would be too?
