$800K+ Term Loan with a portion of proceeds used to Pay off IRS Lien
Who would entertain a high 6 figure/close to 7 figure deal with a portion of proceeds used to pay off a $400K tax lien (one they have consistently made large monthly payments on, @ $17k/month, for 3 years without ever missing a payment fyi).
Looking to consolidate some current debt, clear this lien, and net cash with one financing. Financials show the debt service needed to cover this request has been easily made consistently, TIB over 20 years, a desirable industry, 680/700 personal fico signing as owner/guarantor, and profitable on $5M+ in rev. Borrower open to lender paying IRS direct as part of transaction same as any other lender payoff on the books to take 1st lien position.
Please advise, thanks DF!

What is the industry? He does, in fact, have a payment plan with the IRS?

$800K+ Term Loan with a portion of proceeds used to Pay off IRS Lien
World business lenders would facilitate this transaction. With their revenue stream we could lend significantly more than they would need, assuming they have collateral.

Morning J.Johnson,
Your post raises questions: At 5M per year (or around 400k per month), what is the clients COGS? Is he/she profitable? Does he/she have inventory or receivables? Does he/she bill businesses or the public? Is the tax lien for 940's/941's or for something else? How can a lender collateralize the debt he/she is seeking to secure? Aside from debt consolidation what are the use of funds?
If the client is growing- and a portion of the capital will be used to fuel growth, there are several folks on this forum that assist. At 5M per year he likely needs to secure long term debt or minimally a facility that can bridge him to long term debt. If the client does not have existing assets to leverage-the folks at Funding Strategy Partners (Dan Page) may be able to structure something for 18 months (if the Financials support it)- and concurrent with that facility- the client should likely be eyeing a longer term loan as their cash flow/position strengthens.
Feel free to touch base if you would like a fresh perspective..

Good morning JJ.
Richard, as usual, asked the proper questions.

Thanks for the kind words Richard.
J. Johnson - From what you describe there is a decent possibility we can help. I have no problem with paying off a tax lien as part of funding. Done it before.
Richard is correct that our funding model will require sufficient net income to meet monthly debt service. To qualify for the numbers you are suggesting, they will need to have some impressive net margins, given the gross income you are talking about, but certainly possible.
Feel free to reach out and discuss.
Best,
