The article says that he thinks the stock price is at the floor. This guy was short on the stock and is now getting out. He's not saying the stock is going to go up by any means, but if he thought the stock was going to zero i dont think he would be getting out.

I personally think based on their balance sheet and the current market cap they are more likely going to get purchased.

I would say that shorting the stock now would be very dangerous. I believe as we speak there are hundreds of Funds that study overly beaten stocks and Ondeck may be flashing themselves to those groups.
