Evaluating Merchant Applications:

In this position main focus will be to analyze merchants overall business stability and make lending decisions.

• Coordinating credit analysis and underwriting for new merchant applications.
• Accurately and thoroughly audits/reviews credit application submissions and uses good judgment to determine status of application.
• Analyzing bank and/or merchant processing statements and all necessary financials.
• Ability to evaluate current processes and take initiative to improve them; think “outside of the box” to solve problems
• Coordinate with agents or Independent Sales Organizations to obtain required or missing documentation and facilitate communication with business owner.
• Schedule, coordinate, and review business site visits.
• Conduct credit and background checks on business and business owners
• Determine ability of client to repay an advance based on analysis of the client’s cash flow statements, tax returns, and other financial information
• Perform detailed financial analysis on the small business, including trend and ratio analysis, and interpret the financial information to determine credit quality and cash flow adequacy.
• Maintains positive work relationship with Underwriting Staff, Sales Team, Business Partners and Merchants.
• Uses available resources and management support to price deals accurately and efficiently within the deadline and guidelines established.
• Delivers exceptional service in person and by phone; interacts daily with Sales Team, Business Partners and with Clients and has a positive impact on ISO and Client loyalty.
• Makes good business decisions, works contracts in a timely manner; understands and meets all department and Company objectives regarding daily performance.
• Participates in new product and skills training as assigned

800Fund.Com Requirements:

• 3+ years professional experience in a loan/credit underwriting, Financial Services, or similar industry directly responsible loan processing and/or making an underwriting decision on files
• Experience interpreting financial information in the context of small business credit quality
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to identify inconsistencies and problem solve with minimal direction
• Excellent communication and time management skills; detail oriented and efficient.
• Degree in Business, Finance or other related field preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Outlook; able to create and navigate spreadsheets.
