WOW!!....if these are really A paper, they've already been beaten to death by other calls and Im sure the last thing these "A Merchants" want is a call from me who bought their info online from another broker.

I want to know where the list came from, I am guessing that it is not his to sell. Just a guess

I know this ISO, they are a smaller shop, who does mainly A deals. It could be that he is shutting down the company, and is selling his client book.

I wouldn't know if he is just selling basic lead information, or filled out applications with SS#'s and the rest.

it is but if they are doing that on here it scares me what they are trying to get over on their merchants

The issue is the selling of personal & private information that's illegal. To my understanding you can use the information for what it was intended for, once you sell it out your liable legally for any unauthorized activity/credit pulls if the merchant complains. So the person buying the leads could find themselves in a mess legally or with other brokers who are on top of their merchants.

I'm sure the folks at the CFPB would never, EVER read a post on the Daily Funder, god forbid, and I'm even more sure they would NEVER look at something like this post as something worthy of investigation. I mean, its like the government NEVER tries to score points by torturing finance guys.
