Thought this was interesting and a positive topic. Yes, we all aren't considered "Loan Officers" but it's the same difference.

(That last line made me giggle)

Quicken Loans, who has more money than the top 10 players in MCA combined is making a huge play for loan automation with the 'rocket mortgage' program that you may have seen advertised. I believe this is a pilot that if successful will move to eliminate loan officer positions over the next 5-10 years. The technology and infrastructure is here, and the powers that be have implemented it. It's only a matter of time. As I always say, make hay while the sun shines.

its the battle of man vs robot .. people need to speak w/ a human when it comes down to adjusting numbers, rates ect... so yes the software might be good for pre-quals... but people will always want to feel that comfort factor when dealing with "loans"
