Just wondering, why so cheap? You can't afford to pay someone $12 an hour to work for your company? I mean, they come in, give of their time and efforts, and you want them to work for free? I don't get it.

for constructive feedback, it is....highly unlikely....that you will find anyone, in one of the most expensive cities in the country, who would not starve to death waiting for enough cold-calls to pay off.

Miami market is pretty bad. Unless you have phenomenal leads the turnover rate will be pretty high on commission only. The UCC houses around downtown usually do $10/hr.

So he does all the marketing legwork and gets the interested parties on the phone (which is 90% of the pie), uses the same lenders he could sign up for himself, closes the deal, and you get 50% why again? For use of your VOIP phone and internet?

So I guess I'm going about this in the wrong way? Anyone care to share some input on hiring telemarketers and what I should expect? I don't know if to hire people that have experience or build telemarketers from scratch. I have a team of 5 including myself, just looking to hire more callers to generate leads. In your opinion, what is fair pay for just generating leads/chasing docs? I think salary and a small percent on commission is what most companies pay. Well I'm not a big company so what I can promise is a drama-free work space, fresh leads, and all the tools you need to be your own broker. Eventually, we will split up into teams. Each team having a senior broker that receives over-rides on his team's deals. I could do something like a training phase, salary for a month while the new guys learn the biz. Anyway, let me know what you guys think.
