All collections agencies good or bad recover between 2-6% of assignments, 6 being a superhuman performance and a true anomaly. With the proper set up, agencies are not needed and a funder can recover upwards of 18% of what would be considered "collection" files consistently and for a 3rd of the cost. Problem is most funders are not aware of this.
