Nice business model if you're a non-profit. You can put that capital in a stock index fund and earn 7.5% per year (historically) and not have to worry about defaults and overhead expenses, etc. A return of 13% per year in unsecured business loans isn't worth the effort unless you have a zero percent default rate and zero percent cost of capital.

personally I dont get
a model that is based on losing money in the present on purpose for the hope of making money in the future.. I get a new business that loses money until it starts making money, but to have a model that is based on the premise that we will lose money now and hope to make money later makes very little sense to meJohn Celifarco
