    I know if I was a newb I wouldn't want to be calling crap data. And If I was an employer I wouldn't want my reps calling crap data either. It's safe to say that the aged data would have been crap to start with due to the original source it came from and it will only get worse with time.

    But unfortunately, this is the situation in far too many sales organizations, especially in our industry. The reps are told to call on bad data using some canned/robotic script, and if they don't produce some pre-set monthly quota (that they had no chance of hitting with said resources)....they will be fired and told to go work at McDonalds.

    Career expectancy in this space is short. If you aren't in the boys club at the top of the food chain, or an amazing salesperson, you will wash out quickly.
