On the one hand, he absolutely did an amazing job, and bought a crapload of money into Yellowstone. But this brings back an issue I have with the industry. You have a ISO shop, who send the deal to Juan. Juan send the deal to one of the outside banks, call it BYOB. Now the ISO, Yellowstone, AND BYOB each make an announcement saying they funded a $100k deal. To the outside world it looks like $300k was funded that day. In reality, only $100k was funded. Until there are clear guidelines as to who takes credit for funding AND originating deals, I do not get overly excited about number announcements.

This is excellent news for everyone involved!

I have always believed that if you are some sort of inside rep with a company that's spending a significant amount in marketing, feeding you a lot of inbound leads for the most part, then of course you should be producing much higher than someone like myself for example, who is an external one man shop that has to focus on producing leads through cold/warm calling procedures (as well as managing all other administrative procedures).

It's a totally different situation when they have it setup for you to come in, sit down, get fed warm leads all day, and just follow up with the clients to close them. I've been seriously considering going this route because trying to continue to do it all "alone", has been very challenging due to changing market conditions.

But nevertheless, this is great news and an excellent payday for Juan! If he's managing his money well (controlling spending, investing in good passive investments, etc.), he should be pretty much all set financially for a number of years!

As a person who has worked closely with juan since he started here, his growth has been tremendous not only business wise but personally too.

I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that Juan is getting credit for things that he and his team accomplished. As a side note, his team and mine made up almost 20% of YSC's originated dollars. And as Juan will tell you he and I always make sure that if a deal can be done in house It will be.

Congratulations to Juan and his team. Lets go for 50% of YSC dollars funded next year.
