Looking to hire new Head Underwriter/OR consultant

As title says. My shop is looking to move from syndication to fully lending, and I am curious if there is anybody interested in joining a growing ISO or providing underwriting consultation.

Can I ask one question? Just curious as o how as an iso (as you stated) you plan to jump from syndication to fully funding, and underwriting? I am asking because I have a few friends in underwriting who are curious.

We have the capital and resources to fund but not the personel. We syndicated because we could rely on the direct lender's underwriting staff. Now at this point we want to build a real portfolio. It's time to step things up.

We're looking to develop a niche which we have seen great paper and large deals from. I personally am only interested in A/B paper deals but we have to see how things play out.

Do monthly ACH instead of daily and you'll corner the market.

I would advise using SFS platform or another established lender thats reputable (1MF or EBF). Save yourself on overhead cost and salary and outsource it to the lenders that could service the loan and/ or syndicate on it with you for nominal costs thats paid by the merchant.

I believe coming in as a full funder is something to congratulate in the space. You have enough volume and knowledge (and responsibility) to do so and having the right UW, Legal, AND COLLECTIONS in place to do so is a HUGE step.

Def. try to work with a platform that has experience and don't rule out syndication. Diversify your portfolio above anything and never put all your eggs in one basket.
