    Feedback Please...

We at CapAssist are actively looking for deals that are sub $25k and willing to pay 12% to get them... Offer or TD in an hour or less, one call for stips and will fund the same day if done by 3pm central. We don't want to waste your time. Are you guys throwing these deals in the trash due to size or are we just missing the boat somewhere? I'm looking for some real constructive feedback or criticism here. What are we missing?

Let's look at an example: I funded an alternative tobacco retailer in state X for five thousand. Great guy - cool company....the amount of effort required to connect the dots and complete the funding was roughly equal to the effort required to take Montecassino in WW2. During that week I could have been much more productive, but in the end I was struggling with a deal that would barely pay my cellphone bill. Lesson learned.

I will work on a deal of any size, but I believe smaller deals under $10,000 aren't in high quantity because the merchant usually has some level of resource to tap into for small dollar amounts. The merchant usually doesn't need an advance for $2,500 - $5,000 give or take, but for amounts in the $30k plus range, they usually don't have this laying around and need assistance with the capital facilitation.

I don't think your giving enough credit to our industry's hard working funding specialists working 12 hour days to make it work. NO ONE is throwing out (trashing) sub 25K files.
Most ISO's and Brokers at this point know about Cresthill Capitals abilities to spit out an offer in a few hours from (as low as) 2K as long as file has 4K in Deposits by way of our assembly-lined process that from submission-to-offer takes a few short hours and then with fewest stips funds within hours after contract-back-in....and outside of used auto and legal and collection agencies we have NO restrictions....we love tax preparation firms / constructions / trucking / transportation/etc etc...

Given that the average cash advance transactions are between 17.5K and 23K, I doubt ANYBODY is throwing sub-25K deals in the trash...

    Sub-8K deals are another story...

Who actually funds deals with below $15k in monthly deposits, and what size offers are given?

A lot of people do. Typically its going to depend on the daily ledger for deals with that type of volume per month

15K with average daily bal of 5K is a lot sexier than 15K with 65 bucks as an average daily bal.

I understand that, its a simple enough point. My question is when October had $10k, November as $14k, and December was $12k. My question was: "Who actually funds deals with BELOW $15k in monthly deposits", and I have not yet heard any suggestions.

    Funder Mark,

Max Advance does those types of deals if there's enough meat on the bone for a split or daily pull.

Lendini/Quick Fix Capital has a minimum of $100k in annual revenue. (Superior Capital has provided me with offers below $15k in monthly deposits as well.)

We will look at deposits as low as 8k but the ledger has to be strong.

We've done some advances in the $2500 range. Many have performed surprisingly well

That's the trick with the small deposit deals, the 2-3K advances we do regularly, as long as the ending daily balances are larger than what the payments would be then there is no issue. But a lot of time with a merchant doing 6-8K a month their balances are really tough to negotiate when you add a daily payment from an advance.

We fund every hour deals in that range. when you have a large portfolio of that size the book performs very well.

The issue is even if it's a paper you will come in for someone doing 10k with the 2500 short term .
I am curious if anyone will give the 80% on a paper and fund the guy 8k on a ten month

Nope. I underwrote a $350 MCA deal ten years ago. Performed well, didn't renew.

I don't think they are thrown in the trash but it usually takes the same amount of work for a $25k+ deal as for a $5k one. So an ISO would want to maximize his commission on every deal possible. I am going to add we tested the sub $10k high risk deals and found that the default rate with those files was below 8% go figure. The merchants last chance at money, they have no options and hope to get a bigger advance later on so they pay.
