    Government Regulations Run Amok

Before the government starts regulating the alternative finance sector, how about they look at their own spending, which is done with our tax dollars?

How about the $1.2 trillion dollar spending bill that was just approved, including 1.6 billion to "resettle Central American immigrants" here in our country?

Terrible. And they tax earners that are over $100K a year at 40% here in CA with fed and state. It's ****. I am voting for Trump and I don't care who calls me a 'racist', I'm tired of the PC crowd and their feelings. I believe in fiscal responsibility and national security. He stands for both.

I have pretty much given up on both parties. We have the Socialist Party, and the Socialist-Lite Party running everything.

Both of you guys sound like I'm on the boat so it's full.
Politics does not belong here. All you Do is waste professional space and take a chance on losing business to someone who disagreed with you.
Why is it so hard for people to act professionally on a professional board like this one.

Bob, did you take some sort of ownership in this website we should know about? I've about had it with your lectures on what you see as proper conduct and morality. We are grown adults and professionals, not your grandkids.

And to respond to Funder Mark, and continuing the thread, I tend to agree with you in a way, but we do need to change the trajectory of things in this country. More of the same is not going to help us prosper as individuals or a nation, and I'd like to leave this place better than I found it.

F, I could not care less about your morality but I do care about your outright lack of manners, none of which bother me personally but could bother others and chase them away.
There must be thousands of boards out there that would be interested in your non business views why keep airing them here where the rest of us are trying to work.
I'm sorry you like my posts as little as I like yours.

    Back to regulations.
From my experiences in the past I would have to say that regulation is on the way. I suspect a large number of complaints about misrepresentation of costs and interest rates.
The honesty of the merchants means little to regulators or politicians.
How do you think this will affect the variety of players in the industry and what would each of us do to adapt to the changing marketplace.

Well, BOB, I don't care what you think, and I'm going to post whatever I feel like posting, whenever I feel like posting it. Why don't you man up and buy some advertising space on here anyway, instead of using DF as a free marketing vehicle for your crappy consolidation programs? Merry Christmas.

As I was saying how will the industry adapt to the change?

Has there been any chatter from Legislators about new regulation?
