I figured as much, and i'm like the biggest email marketer in the world, but I'd never make such claims...not anything even remotely close.
There's a phone number and a firm attached to this as well, and that's even more peculiar....should i call?

Can you call and report back because I have actually heard similar claims from different brokers about this mysterious "white whale" company out there.

I can understand the bait-n-switch, that happens everywhere even car dealerships.
But "I am reaching out to you because at one point you were dealing with a broker or direct lender that submitted your application to us, at which time you were approved for $250,000.00" is more than a bait-n-switch.
I never had to outright lie through my teeth to someone to make money. There is too much business out there in this industry already to feel the need to do that.

This is horrible. I have copies of faxes and emails that were sent to me from friends and former merchants.
Recent lies: "I have reviewed your documents that you recently sent into underwriting and we have X amount allocated just for your business"
It scares the crap out of people because now with all the shopping, calls, and mysterious credit pull- merchants are more than likely not to proceed or want anything from anyone.
