Cresthill Capital has funded payroll and staffing companies! its a bit tricky since sometimes out of 1M a month in deposits -- 965K go to employees leaving very few as true revenue (for our kind of funding) but at times more can be treated as revenues.
we would be happy to take a shot.Marcus Clapman | Business Development | Cresthill Capital

Marcus,
Why would an MCA be logical rather than factoring which is traditional in the staffing industry and where personal credit doesn't make up a lot of the model unless it's really, really bad? (said as a loyal Cresthill rep. as you just funded something for me recently and have some others pending, but also said as someone that does a lot of factoring for staffing co's thru Crestmark, AGR and Capital).
In addition since average markup from payroll (paid) to invoice (billed) is about 20% (light industrial) in staffing; unless IT, Engineering or Med, how would the customer be able to afford it? That was only staffing, a PEOs (Professional Employers Org) which is still not just basic payroll admin like an ADP or Paychex (because they provide the workers' comp too), markup is a pittance compared to staffing and just basis points. In other words, if they are only getting a 20% markup which his client is not even doing and is average, how will they pay an MCA rate? I posted this more towards staffing than just pure payroll admin.Last edited by John Galt; 12-07-2015 at 07:09 PM.

We recently funded a staffing company - using the process below.
We work with a variety of invoice factoring companies (IFC) to fund businesses. Works like an credit card split. On each invoice the IFC pays the business on, a specific amount is sent to us to pay down the funds. We currently work with seven factor companies and have the ability to set up businesses who qualify with IFC's. Feel free to reach out for more information

Omega,
$20mil staffing business is easily financed by factoring receivables. The advanced rates are pretty high and we can be very competitive on pricing. A staffing company this size so long as there are not too many challenges should not be paying more than low teens all in.
Happy to take a look....
