75K volume is a minimum for starters (seasoned reps need to do more).. if they can't hit that, they're gonna have problems

$75K x .10 = $7,500 x .40 = $3K/Month. Assuming they are averaging 10% comm on a 40% payout. Are you realistically able to retain brokers with $3K/M until renewals start kicking in? After working with 50+ brokers over the past couple years I've found that some have it and some don't, very cut and dry. As for quality brokers that stay, I typically see them funding $200K+ their first month.

Experienced guys should absolutely be able to produce numbers like that or better. I was referring to a brand new rookie cold-calling UCC's or Aged Leads. Their first months they should be able to produce ~$100K of volume or greater. Every rep should be able to consistently do $100K of volume or more at minimum. Of course, top reps might do 500-1MM of volume monthly.

My first month at YSC I made 912 dollars, I still have a photo copy of the check framed to remind me where I came from. But, I agree with Zach, a straight up Rookie should be able to put 3K in his pocket to start with and go from there.

Trust me, I've had my share of terrible months during my first few months in the space... I can relate.

Started out in equipment financing, which makes cash advance look like a walk in the park. Hat's off to the equipment leasing guys.

    Me too

We pound UCC's and "aged" leads exclusively. Apparently that is a no-no on this board, works just fine for us.

You prob have about 10x as many brokers as I do though haha. Different models...
