This is an old argument, but the whole "self policing" thing comes into play with instances like this.

This type of situation is the exact reason lenders do login, and many ISOs and merchants are constantly pushing back and wanting to send in a MTD. Unfortunately, merchants like this one are sending in FRAUD MTDs, and apparently even screenshares like join.me can be altered.

Exactly, and this is my argument when my ISOs call in saying they are losing a deal because we wont do DL, Join.me or similar....to much manipulation

I would say about 90% of the time we have a merchant that refuses to do login, its because there is something to hide. If they altered statements of course we never hear from them again, however, when some of them realize its their only option and give us login, its typically an R08 on a lender or the account is super negative.
