So On Deck seems to be happy, more origination's, lower losses, higher profits, is this really a sustainable model for the future?

On Deck
That's great news. I hope our industry continues to grow. On Deck's numbers, at least to me, indicate that as a whole we have to look forward to more growth, new financial products, and sustainability.

impressive. you haters want to hate, but tough to find anything of substance to hate on here. They keep performing like this and the stock price will be rewarded, eventually.

I thought these results were pretty good. Obviously selling loans off through marketplace has allowed them to book income immediately and quiet those that said they can't make any money.

Nice little after hours jump in price. Well deserved for the Bulls. I'd love to see a squeeze. For fun I'm going to try and calculate the new squeeze trigger price.

Anyone know how much of this revenue was direct and how much ISO driven? Would be interesting to know. Would also be nice to know how much all that marketing cost them. Maybe it's on the balance sheet.

So looks like they are depending on ISO business more than ever if I'm reading this correctly.

Direct and Strategic Partner - isn't that ISO business? Up 10.3% over the previous qtr in 2014? I can't read this.

Agreed, and ultimately I think a lot of us in the industry are watching OnDeck and their model very closely to see if it can be replicated and improved upon in the future.
In the words of Mark Cuban, "There are the Innovators, the Imitators, and the Idiots, don't wait around until you become the latter."

Interesting that the larger deals come in from ISO's given ONDK's marketing budget. 18% of the deals in turn make up 25% of the total dollar funded

I believe it could be that a lot of lenders use online ads, PPC, etc., and from my experience you get a significantly large amount of leads that are start-ups or not that far off from being start-ups. So the leads in general are very small merchants.
Where as from brokers/consultants, they usually spend most of their marketing through direct telephone calls to specific niche markets, which bring in the higher revenue merchants.
