GoDaddy is a good option for just getting started with everything you need i.e. a website builder, emails (compatible with all email providers) and hosting.

The downside is you do not own your own website if you choose to host it yourself or somewhere else and your content marketing like blogs is severely limited.

With Wordpress you can add plug-ins to customize your site exactly how you want it and Google prefers Wordpress to read your content and Wordpress is set up for creating blogs.

The downside is you need to learn how to use Wordpress or hire someone who knows Wordpress.

Are you just a small broker office, direct lender or in the lead generation business? A small broker could get away with one of the low cost options for a website, but you aren't going to get away with that if you are in the lead generation business for example.

You might want to go to a professional website designer and spend a decent amount to have a decent online presence.

With a little elbow grease and simply uploading your own (purchased $30-80) theme to let's say GoDaddy hosting, you can build an amazing Wordpress site with contracting someone else out. I wouldn't use anything else besides Wordpress for your website infrastructure, possibly Square Space. I would stay away from the "Wix" and "GoDaddy" type of templated sites if you want to produce any effective lead gen whatsoever.
